Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is seeking a CNA/Nurse Aide to work in all areas of the nursing unit which include: Acute Care, Pediatrics, ICU, Transitional Care Unit and the Behavioral Health Unit. This is a full time, varied shift position with rotating weekends/holidays required. The Nurse Aide is responsible for assisting nursing staff with admission, discharge, pre-procedure, post- procedure, and transfer procedures. Nurse Aide is responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting patients with their activities of daily living, patient observations/checks, and following procedures to ensure safety of themselves, patients and co-workers.
Uncertified Nurse Aides have the option to be enrolled in the next C.N.A. class if they would like to proceed with becoming certified. GMC pays for your C.N.A. certification ($1500 value) and you get paid to take the class!
* Current CNA Certification preferred, but not required
* Previous health care experience preferred
* General computer knowledge/experience required
